		<description><![CDATA[The text book controvery has peeld off the &quot;progressive&quot; mask of Kerala. It has revealed the hypocratic/casteist/fanatic Kerala. The religious leaders, irrespective of religion (they unite at one point) rallied behind the narrow religious ideology to oppose the text book contct. In fact, their political gimmic comes from fear of an open minded new generation who can problematically look at caste/religion without negating it as &quot;non-issue&quot; and leave it to these power-mongering religious leaders. 
The right to say NO to religion should be respcted as that to say YES to religion.]]></description>
