I was a student at JNU when Balraj Sahni delivered this convocation Address,
i remembered bits of it and when i came across the text I posted it on Kafila.

Absolutely brilliant… the thought. Truth is always naked. We have to accept it. We all know where we stand today. This speech (article) is a reminder to our mental status.

He was the Actor, Hero, & Great human Being.
I want to share one thing, when i see award ceremony no one talk about Balraj Sahani & also now award for him, it was shame full for all actor, who received aweard & don’t talk about Balraj sahani.

Many thanks Sohail. A rare document indeed. If one could write such effortless prose as Mr. Sahni does, it would not be necessary to throw either the langauge or the script. And yet be as humble and local as one possibly could.
