It is a matter of shame that instead of being celebrated, Naveen Soorinje, who followed journalism’s best traditions in reporting the attack by Hindutva vigilantes in Mangalore earlier this year, is now languishing in jail.

    Indeed shameful… I wonder how come this case has not been highlighted when Aseem has become a celebrity and went to Big brother house from the Jail house?

    I wonder whether the State of Karnataka is also run under a democratic-secular constitution or is ruled by a gang professing Hindutva politics! Anything we can do for his release?
