Friends & Family Discount (Lift Tickets)
Ikon Pass Holder’s Discount
This discount offer includes off on food and beverage except for alcohol, retail except for hard goods, and summer access. Ikon Pass Holders can avail of discounts up to 15% on the food and retail category and enjoy beautiful lift rides at selected destinations.
Early Booking Privileges’ (Winter Season)
Ikon Pass Holders can also enjoy ‘early booking privileges’ for the Winter season. If they wish to visit Ikon Pass destinations in summer, they can avail of discounts of up to 10% on early bookings.
Lodging Discounts
The fourth and last discount made available to every Ikon Pass Holder is that of lodging destinations. The amount of value offered varies according to the place selected by the adventurers. There are several lodging resorts available at the Ikon Pass destinations. Mountain Resorts is one such example.
Mountain Resorts offer 10% off to the Ikon Pass Holders who decide to lodge with them. All that users need to do is share their email address with the website and receive their promo code. Then, after booking their lodging with the Mountain Resort representative over the phone, the Ikon Pass Holder can let the operator know about their promo code and get the 10% off on total lodging expenses. This discount can also be availed via online booking by merely entering the promo code in the specified box when booking with Mountain resorts.
Child Promotional Pass (5-12)
This pass offers a discounted price of $199 on purchasing two child passes. Additionally, to avail of this discount, users must buy one adult pass.
Protect Our Winners (POW) Membership
On purchasing an Ikon Pass, users are granted a 1-year membership of Protect Our Winners (POW), a non-profit organization. The organization comprises professional athletes, industry brands, and other community members concerned about decisive climate action. This membership includes 20% off on POW store merchandise and subscriptions to a monthly POW and a biweekly email newsletter.

Students/College Discounts
This discount is available to selected college students when they purchase an Ikon Pass. The promo code is a one-time use code entered by the person selling the Ikon Pass. The Pass holder may not even be aware of the code since it is generated on behalf of their institute’s partnership/affiliation with the Alterra Mountain Company and not a personal account.
Military Discounts
All military personnel qualifies for this discount on purchasing an Ikon Pass.
Summer Discounts
These include 20% off Summit Bike Park Lift tickets at Big Bear Mountain Resort, 20% off on Bike Park Lift tickets at Mammoth Mountain Resort, and a $5 mountain biking at Solitude Mountain Resort. Summer discounts include $40 off on a season pass to Trestle Bike Park at Winter Park Resort, 50% off on full-day bike park tickets at Deer Valley Resort, and 10% off Bike Park lift access at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.

Alterra Mountain Company is an outdoor ski, snowboard, and cold sports company. It was established in 2017 and owns a range of destinations for people to vacation. The company currently offers two types of passes: the multi-resort season passes and the destination/local passes.
The Passes are usually opened for sale in the spring season — customers who buy early in spring report buying at cheaper rates. As the winter season approaches, the prices start to rise. The Ikon Passes can be purchased from many online vendors, including Amazon and Costco. Android and Apple users can download the Ikon Pass app to keep track of their packages as per their pass.
